From all of us at
Families 4 Christmas
we would like to say
to all the volunteers
We look forward to seeing you in 2017!
On behalf of Families 4 Christmas we wanted to let you know that we will not be servicing our families within the communities this 2016 season. Due to personal commitments and other time restraints from our staff and volunteers we will not have the time allowed for us to complete our mission. Please know that this decision to postpone the 2016 season was discussed in full detail and was a difficult decision to come to.
To our Volunteers and families, we will resume our mission in the 2017 Calendar year.
Our simple goal is provide for families that are experiencing financial difficulties as they struggle throughout the Holiday Season. We provide a modest donation of gifts and groceries with a sense of caring and understanding. We do this through providing families with a gift for each child, enough groceries for a Holiday Dinner and general food needs for a week. The second part of our mission is bring people together for the common good and to benefit others. To show our children the responsibility and the joy of charitable giving for others. We believe that this should be an crucial part of our lives. Today our children are inundated with a commercialized sense of what the holiday's are all about. We show them through the power of giving that there is so much more. Regardless of what our own religious affiliations are about what the holiday season is all about, we practice a common virtue, "Give" and "Care" for our fellow neighbors and friends that may need a helping hand through difficult times. Families 4 Christmas, is committed to caring for as many families as we can throughout the holiday season, and teach our children about charitable responsibility and caring towards others.
